I asked Loki and his capable team to do a full hip to gable and full width former Loft conversion. There were detailed plans at the start and they hit the ground running with skip and scaffolding arriving within 10 days of first meeting.
The build out phase took 7 weeks with an aggressive schedule. With neighbours consent they worked on Saturdays too that really helped break the back of the project. Overall I am really happy with the quality of work with a solid structure and good finish.
Project work is always stressful but with good planning this can be minimised. We were approx 10% over budget which was just acceptable due to the limitations of initial planning horizon.

Our project was a 2 storey extension comprising of a kitchen extension and a new room beneath the existing property.
Due to the challenging nature of the work (building down) and the poor access to the back of the house we found that some builders were not interested in the project. We chose LCD Pixel Construction after observing the quality job that they had done with a neighbours extension.
Loki who is the main man of LCD Pixel Construction has high standards and gave us some good input on design. He was always quick to respond to issues we had along the way. We were very pleased with the finished build.
The job took longer than originally expected but this was mainly down to an unexpected decision by building control that the new build would require underpinning. Loki used various different people for each stage of the project all who were hard working and competent.
We've used Loki and his team on a number of occasions now - from refitting our bathrooms, fixing a broken roof and a full house extension. On each occasion, we have found him knowledgeable, capable and a pleasure to deal with. He genuinely takes pride in doing a good job, and still checks in regularly with us once the projects are over to make sure we are 100% happy with his work. We have no hesitation recommending him to friends as we know we have found a builder we can trust.
